Puppy dog cookies

Been working on my cookie decorating skills. As you can see they are not all that great. I'm still learning about royal icing and it's not easy for me to get the right consistency for piping. Too stiff and it's almost impossible to pipe decent lines, too soft and they droop right off the cookie. Finally I manged to get something that I could work with, but it's still a bit on the stiff side. I'm going to keep at it though and hopefully it will get better with practice, practice, practice. I thought these were kind of cute.
